We are looking to hire 3 x shop assistants/ managers for our busy Dairy shop in Christchurch. The salary will range from $29.00 to $30.00 for a minimum of 30 hours a week. Any overtime worked over 30 hours will be paid as per the base hourly pay.
Daily Tasks Involved in the role:
- Manage daily operations of store to meet store goals.
- Follow and enforce store policies, security measures and customer service standards.
- Provide excellent customer services.
- Develop positive shopping experience and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform stock control to avoid over stock and low stock.
- Manage product storage and rotation activities to reduce spoilages and damages.
- Ensure that grocery shelves are maintained clean and organized.
- Ensure that shelves are loaded with fresh products all the times.
- Ensure that all products are properly tagged and labelled.
- Setup product displays in store entrance and other sections.
- Maintain the shop clean, safe and appealing.
Job Pre-requisites
- Physically fit, as heavy lifting may require as a part of the role.
- You must be available to work during the weekends, public holiday, late hours, and rotational shifts.
- Excellent work ethics and reliable.
- Ability to use your knowledge, skills, and experience to grow and expand our business.
- Ability to work without any supervision and minimal training.
