Job title - WWTP Operator
Location - Kunming, China
On-site - Irregular working hours with average working hours of 40 per week
As a WWTP Operator, you'll be working Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to support the plant's day-to-day operations. In the WWTP area, you’ll be supported by your team with possibilities to grow into a Sr. Operator and directly impact the environment of our products - helping to improve real lives.

Your key responsibilities
- Safety comes first at dsm-firmenich, so you'll make sure all our health and safety standards are adhered to.
- Monitor machinery and equipment to ensure it is operating properly
- Record production and WWTP data in data sheet available at the job location.
- Perform in-process analysis at the laboratory.
- Take samples and submit it to Quality Control Laboratory when needed.
- Perform proper labeling of the WW streams as appropriate per the local procedures of the site.

You bring
- Active learning skills
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to work in a team environment and coordinating multiple resources without direct supervision
- High degree of manual dexterity and good mechanical and technical aptitude
- Understanding and compliance with emergency / safety procedures and practices.
- Understanding of wastewater treatment in operating area and downstream impact.
