Job Description
- Work hand in hand with the Managing Director to develop and implement the organization's strategic goals and objectives. Assist in formulating business plans, budgets, and performance targets.
- Provide high-level support to the Managing Director in making critical business decisions. Conduct research, gather data, and analyze information to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Act as a liaison between the Managing Director and other departments, executives, and stakeholders. Ensure effective communication and coordination within the organization, both vertically and horizontally.
- Oversee and manage key projects and initiatives on behalf of the Managing Director. Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and provide regular updates to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. Review financial statements, budgets, and financial reports to identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential cost-saving opportunities, if need be.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, business partners, and government agencies. Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and networking events.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant operations. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of managers and employees. Foster a positive work environment, encourage professional development, and promote teamwork and collaboration.
- Monitor the performance of departments and employees against set targets and objectives. Implement performance evaluation systems and provide feedback to improve productivity and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to the Managing Director and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on organizational performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, management, finance, or a related discipline is required.
- Several years of experience in a managerial or executive role. Experience in a similar industry or sector can be advantageous. Previous experience in supporting senior executives or managing director-level positions is highly valued.
- Strong leadership abilities. Capable of guiding and motivating teams, promoting collaboration, and driving organizational success. Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing people effectively is highly desirable.
- The ability to think strategically, analyze complex situations, and provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making is crucial. The candidate should have a track record of contributing to strategic planning, business development, and achieving organizational goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. The candidate should be able to articulate ideas clearly, present information persuasively, and engage in diplomatic and professional communication.
- Strong analytical skills. Proficiency in data analysis, financial analysis, and problem-solving is valuable.
- A solid understanding of financial management principles, budgeting, and financial analysis is often required. Familiarity with financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and financial forecasting is beneficial.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders is critical. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with individuals at various levels, including clients, business partners, and government agencies.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances is important. Resilience, flexibility, and the capacity to handle multiple priorities and deadlines are highly valued.
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to ethical behavior, integrity, and professionalism is essential. Upholding confidentiality, exercising discretion, and maintaining high ethical standards are integral to this role.

Salary: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
