Position Description:
LeasePlan Hellas is looking for a talented Indirect Purchase Specialist who will lead the Indirect Procurement category in order to maximize the value for Customer (internal/external). Reports directly to the Procurement Manager and is responsible for the Indirect Strategy and all procurement activities within the category. Owns relationship with selected suppliers and is accountable for supplier contracts and supplier performance management.

Responsibilities:- Leads the category and set directions in close collaboration with the Procurement Manager and the internal stakeholders.
- Leads and is responsible for the development and implementation of the Indirect Strategy.
- Manages the Indirect spend/volume and performs spend analysis to identify savings opportunities.
- Monitor the market situation and the supplier landscape and performs market and supplier reports.
- Collaborates with Commercial and other departments to identify customer’s and driver’s requirements to continuously increase quality and service level.
- Facilitates collaboration with the cross functional Indirect team.
- Defines Indirect category initiatives, establish priorities based on the benefit opportunities and monitor implementation of local and global activities to deliver maximal Procurement benefits.
- Implement Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for Indirect category and applies it systematically in sourcing decision processes.
- Leads tender processes, develops negotiation plans and drives supplier negotiations.
- He/She is accountable for sourcing contract implementation and compliance to global and local policies and procedures.
- Identifies and on-boards new suppliers as well as terminates existing suppliers’ agreements.
- Establishes a relationship / partnership with selected suppliers, measure supplier performance of the category and creates supplier development programs.
- Responsible for benefits management, creating forecasts and alignment with annual plans.
- Measures category practices against best-in-class benchmarks and cross-LP Group practices to identify improvement activities.
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Economics
- Working experience at similar position at least 3-5 years Procurement and Supply Chain Management
- Very good command of English - verbal and written
- Digital literacy and tech savviness
- Critical & analytical thinking
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Good strategic thinking & project management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer and results oriented
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Organizational skills and problem solving capabilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
